I present to you... another SUPER delayed blog post. It's true when they say that writing content for a living makes it harder to write content in your free time. I don't actually know who said that, but they're right.


Speaking of writing content for a living, I dare you to ask me how to replace the front struts on your 2006 Ford F-150. Just do it.


Joking aside, I've learned a heck of a lot about "car stuff" since I started working at O'Reilly Auto Parts headquarters 3 months ago. Thank the good lord above for this job. I love it, and I love the people there. New friends, new (not stressful) job. Who said change was bad?

Answer: Me, most of my life. But I'm embracing the heck out of change nowadays.


Speaking of new friends, a co-worker (who is also a friend) asked me a fun question the other day. "What are the top 3 things on your list of collectibles that you haven't found yet?" Or something like that. It took me about 30 seconds to answer. My list was super random, which isn't surprising.

  1. A Cat & the Fiddle matchbook (IYKYK) to go with my growing Springfield matchbook collection.

  2. This vintage spice tin. I swear it's not real!

  3. A vintage bottle (empty or full) of Quluedes. LOL. But really, millennials missed out on the "ludes" experience.

Here are a few things I've been into lately that are (mostly) attainable.


  1. My friend Locke found a vintage fiber optic flower lamp (pictured above) for 12 bucks and gave it to me as an early birthday present. THANK YOU for your service, Locke.

  2. I don't want to admit how quickly I go through:

    1. An 18-pack of the best sparkling water on earth

    2. A 12-pack of these protein bars

    3. Or maybe I do? Send me a DM

  3. How much sleep did you get last night?

  4. One of my favorite comfort rewatch documentaries.

  5. I've received a surprising amount of compliments on this $10 purse. Oh, and it's machine washable.

  6. Halloween DRIP CANDLES. I did not need to know these existed.

  7. I didn't take a sip of Jolly-Aid, but I wanted to.

  8. This vitamin C capsule cream has been a dream come true for my skin. 10/10!

  9. How do I dust all of my knick-knacks? With a pink feather duster, of course. But really, it works like a charm, and it makes me feel unapologetically fancy.

  10. Don't forget to check out your local online auctions and estate sales this week.
